Today's match saw the formation of county teams at under 14 and under 15 level as a warm-up for the under 14 match against Somerset on August 22. There was good representation from the home club with Robert Hardean and James Flower representing the under 14s whilst Luke Sandford, Michael Griffiths, Alex Kerr and Tom Flower played for the under 15s.
Although the under 14s came-off second best in the match, they cleaned-up the first three places in the Stableford competition that was running alongside the match with Nick Lamb (Monmouth) in first place, Bruce Kennedy (Monmouth) second and taking third was Toby Hunt (St. Mellons).
